Goals

My neighbor, a high school teacher, often talks about the difficulty of managing a classroom with such diverse student needs. He expressed frustration with not always knowing which homework questions are the most challenging for this students until after the fact. This makes it hard for him to proactively address the most difficult topics in his next class. He spends a significant amount of time reviewing individual students’ work, but it doesn’t always provide the clarity he needs. He believes that if he could quickly identify the most difficult homework questions ahead of time, he could better prepare and focus his teaching areas where students struggle the most, ultimately improving their learning experience and optimizing class time.

A high school teacher needs a way to quickly identify which homework questions are the most challenging for students, before the next class. This would enable him to prepare in advance and focus on addressing these problem areas during the upcoming lesson.

The solution could be a tool that helps teachers quickly see which homework questions most students struggled with. This tool would automatically analyze the students’ answers and show the teacher which questions caused the most difficulty. With this information, the teacher can prepare ahead of time to explain those questions in the next class. The tool could work with the system teachers already use for assignments
